With offices in New York City and Los Angeles, our quickly growing team brings a breadth of experience honed at Hawkins International PR and beyond. Our favorite campaigns range from launching new boutique hotels like The Franklin in London and The Darcy in Washington, D.C.; to creating public relations strategies for travel and lifestyle start-ups such as Flytographer travel photography, Locale aparthotels, and Spaces co-working; to working with iconic hotels such as The Shelbourne in Dublin, Gstaad Palace in Switzerland and the Gramercy Park Hotel in New York City.

Catherine Colford

As Managing Director of Maverick Creative, Catherine Colford leads a team of bold, unconventional storytellers driven by curiosity, creativity and results. As an accomplished public relations pro with a keen awareness of hospitality and media trends, Colford oversees all agency operations with the same thoughtful counsel, personal touch and grasp of communications mediums she honed at Hawkins International PR. Originally recruited as a Media Relations Specialist in 2012, Colford was tasked with launching Hawkins International PR’s Media Intelligence team. She took her role to unanticipated heights, becoming the agency’s in-house trend spotter, and assembling a crew to cultivate and grow media relationships and spearhead corporate communications while elevating clients through trend-focused and seasonally driven strategies. Promoted to Vice President in 2018, Colford oversaw Hawkins International PR’s account teams with focus on lifestyle brands and start-ups, and was a go-to resource for strategic client counsel and developing and managing relationships with client agencies and partners. Meanwhile, her Media Intelligence team’s popular “In & Out” roundups and “TrendHawk Reports” are now must-reads for editors, clients and agency insiders alike.
